USC Coach Tim Floyd is reportedly losing one of his top recruits from the Class of 2009 due to the recent allegations of recruiting violations involving former USC All-American OJ Mayo.
Noel Johnson (left), a 6-foot-7 4-star swingman from Fayetteville, Ga., has asked for his release according to Northstar Basketball.
Johnson will now reportedly consider four schools: LSU, Georgia Tech, UConn, and UNLV.
Johnson was to be core piece of a strong incoming 2009 class for Floyd and the Trojans, including 4-star McDonald's All-American point guard Lamont "MoMo" Jones of Oak Hill Academy.
